Consultancy, Speaking and Editorial Services

The Inclusive Edit provides strategic consultancy, professional speaking and commissioned editorial services.

Due to the preparatory and intellectual nature of these services, the following policy applies.

​

1.Consultancy Services

Including but not limited to:

• Operational Inclusion Strategy Session
• Accessible Experience Diagnostic
• In person inclusion reviews
• Advisory retainers

​

Booking & Payment

All consultancy sessions are confirmed upon receipt of full payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment secures your booking date and initiates preparatory review time.

​

Client Cancellations

More than 7 days before the scheduled session
A full refund will be issued, minus any non recoverable transaction fees.
Alternatively, the session may be rescheduled without penalty.

Between 3 and 7 days before the session
A 50 percent refund will be issued.
One reschedule within 30 days may be offered.

​

Less than 72 hours before the session
Sessions are non refundable.
Rescheduling may be offered at discretion in exceptional circumstances.

​

Non attendance without notice is non refundable.

​

In Person Consultancy

For on site diagnostics and reviews:

​

• Any confirmed travel or accommodation costs are non refundable once booked.
• Where cancellation occurs within 7 days, non recoverable travel costs will be invoiced or deducted from any refund.

 

Deliverables

Once a Strategy Summary document or written consultancy output has been delivered, it is considered completed intellectual property and is non refundable.

2. Speaking Engagements

Including:

• Conference speaking
• Panel participation
• Workshop facilitation
• Corporate briefings

​

Booking & Deposit

Speaking engagements require a signed agreement and deposit to confirm the booking.

Unless otherwise agreed:

• A 50 percent deposit is required to secure the date
• The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event

​

Cancellation by Client

More than 30 days before the event
The deposit is non refundable but may be transferred to a future booking within 6 months.

Between 14 and 30 days before the event
50 percent of the full fee is payable.

Less than 14 days before the event
100 percent of the agreed fee is payable.

Travel and accommodation costs already incurred are non refundable.

Cancellation by The Inclusive Edit

In the unlikely event that a speaking engagement must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances:

• A replacement date will be offered where possible
• If rescheduling is not feasible, any fees paid will be refunded in full

​

3. Editorial Services

Including:

• Commissioned articles
• Branded editorial partnerships
• Content consultancy
• Podcast collaborations

​

Commissioned Work

Editorial work requires written confirmation of scope and payment terms prior to commencement.

Where a deposit has been paid and work has begun:

• Deposits are non refundable
• Work completed to date will be invoiced proportionally if the project is cancelled

Once final copy has been delivered, the project is considered complete and non refundable.

Exceptional Circumstances

The Inclusive Edit recognises that unforeseen events may arise. Reasonable flexibility may be offered at discretion where appropriate.
